  1. The UKIP party had a purple version of the British flag with a pound sign on it, and GB news itself uses a distorted version of the British flag. I don't remember a great hoo ha about that. This whipped up hysteria about the colours of the England cross of St George on the England kit is fake.

  2.  @barneybear1971  The new rules came in before 2014 as I experienced it. Many people may have not known until a short time before that so they have been campaigning since, 10 years at least.
