Jon Coxon Eh? He has accepted the vote and says he is not intending to take us back into the EU.

What's that got to do with Brexit?

It's because our laws and their laws and our trade practices and their trade practices have been intertwined for 40 years. That's a lot to disentangle in a short space of time. It's the practical issues that are difficult too. It's not just a matter of saying goodbye, because there are shared resources and trade consequences. Also new barriers apply which means we have to spend on setting up new customs and immigration control arrangements and there is more bureaucracy and paperwork for exporting businesses. Not only that but we lose economies of scale and we lose all the international trade agreements that we were part of as a member of the EU, and all the subsidies from the EU. When you add that lot up it results in more spending not less than on EU membership.

Yes if the public is writing to him and he is taking notice.

Tomakak You 'doubt' but you don't know because you haven't bothered to find out. Starmer did not agree with Corbyn on everything and has different views.

That's cancellation culture and censorship.

He isn't bothering. Didn't you know? He's never been bothering.

If the government thinks it's o.k for them to break the law, criminals will argue that it's o.k for them to break any laws they don't like either. Conservatives have always promoted themselves as the 'party of law and order'. That's a joke now.

No one knows. There's no cure. If a vaccine works that might help but flu vaccines don't get rid of flu. When those work they they just stop it being so serious for vulnerable people. The same might apply to Covid 19.

@johnmoore9862 I'm not a leave voter - maybe that's why. I'm quite worried about what's going to happen next year.

Tomakak But that's history and under a different leader.

Tomakak Well don't make comments as if you know them, when you haven't bothered to find out.

Tomakak Chauvinist.

Tomakak So can you. Sorry I descended to your level (as you started it) and for a moment I was tempted to find a better insult.

Whoosh! Do you even understand what is going on?
