Regarding what Sunak said, the Pay Review Bodies are not that independent, as their terms of reference only allow them to recommend pay rises within the budgets already set by the government.

@reasonerenlightened2456 It saves on energy costs of cooking. I think if people work they feel entitled to a little treat now and again otherwise what are they working for? Also people who work long hours may not always have time for shopping and cooking.

@reasonerenlightened2456 What, you mean laws that protect against theft? What are you getting at here? People work to live and to get some satisfaction from it if they possibly can. They also work if they were not born with a large inheritance.
