People have said that throughout the ages to every new invention.

Yes, viruses will control us if we let them. Fortunately we have vaccines now.

The vaccine 100% avoids hospitalisations though so it will save lives.

Hardly if it gets society and the economy open and moving again.

Where's the propaganda. Which parts are factually incorrect?

I don't think nail shops existed before the 21st century. However did we manage all those centuries without nail shops?

I had the vaccine and lived. They say that the Astra Zeneca vaccine, which is the main one the UK is using, 100% prevents hospitalisation with Covid, but I'm not sure if that's only after the second dose.
2
Don't be silly. You can have all of those things triggered by Covid except for type I diabetes and accidents.

* properganda as opposed to improper ganda? At least learn to spell the word if you are going to bandy it about. The word is propaganda, but this is not propaganda, it's science.

Not yet. Everyone can't have it at once which is why there is a priority list and the poor will be high up in the priority list if they are classed as vulnerable, healthwise.

@thomasphilip8916 I'm not sure how you are linking the test to Covid. Tests don't prevent you from catching Covid and it's well known that some people don't have symptoms when they catch Covid. What Covid numbers are fake?

He lends opposition. Opposition is needed in a democracy to hold sitting governments to account.

@liza4757 Which ones are coming true? Is that just conspiracy sites telling you they are coming true?
1
Which migrants are living it up in 4 star hotels? If you are referring to quarantine hotels, the people staying there have to pay for their stay - around £1750 I believe.

I've had many vaccinations in my life and I'm still alive.

@AlwaysAC Smallpox has been eradicated so they don't vaccinate for it any more.

@rajjassal123 We don't have the time for that, but the vaccines are very much built on existing knowledge and scientific advances in the anti-viral world. ' In the long run we're all dead'. That's a famous quote but I can't remember who said it. (Looked it up, it was economist John Maynard Keynes) If you are worried, young, haven't had children yet, well you can probably get by without the vaccine because Covid is unlikely to kill you and if all the older and vulnerable people have opted for the vaccine, they will be protected.

@josephhenry9924 15 million include vulnerable people under 70 and also they don't tell you but some areas have already been vaccinating over 65s so some of them will be in the figures. Also nurses and care workers, doctors and hospital admin staff have been offered the vaccine and will be in the figures and they won't be over 70.

@rocklover7437 Also, the common cold mutates too fast, and it's not a serious illness, so it's not worth the effort and expense of producing vaccines and vaccinating everyone. Vaccines would have to be changed and administered too frequently. How many of the 15 million who've had Covid vaccines have died so far?
