The Europeans have made it clear that they expect the UK to come up with what they want. The EU isn't going to make a series of offers or options. Secondly, they think that time has passed. They are not going to re-open the agreement made with Theresa May, and a Free Trade Deal with Europe can't be negotiated at this stage without an agreement. It would now have to wait for a no deal exit before negotiations on a Free Trade Deal could begin. Free Trade deals can take years to negotiate. All in all, I'd say we're headed for a 'no deal' exit on 31 October by default.

You're pretending to know what he is talking about and so is he.

Did the leavers know the consequences or implications of what they voted for when they voted? If you offered to buy a house would you feel it fair to be compelled to continue with the purchase if the survey then informed you it was unsound?

@teddansonLA They certainly did not. Even though a lot of the Good Friday Agreement depends on EU membership, not just because of border issues, but also because of Human Rights legislation which the Tories are always complaining about and suggesting they would like to undo in the UK.

No, This guy was not elected by the electorate, but only by the majority of the Conservative Party which is a small number nationally.

but Parliament won't be fooled. Theresa May already tried that and failed.

No one can. The EU will not budge. Theresa May has already been through that process. We are heading for a 'no deal' by default now.

No Free Trade Deal can be negotiated, in any case, without a prior agreement in place. Those are the rules, and the UK has so far rejected the agreement between the EU and Theresa May, and the EU has said it won't change the agreement negotiated with Theresa May. We are headed for a 'no deal' by 31 October by default.
