  1. He knows that if he fights Israel that is playing into their hands, and will give the American right the excuse to takes sides with Israel against Syria. With no friends they can't win. This is a tragedy in the making. Besides, his military capacity will be low after the war against Assad and Israel bombing remaining weapons stockpiles. What is your solution?
