When Chris Philp said there was a safety net clause preventing people being sent to a country where they are in danger of risk to life I wondered how does that square with the Tories legal declaration that Rwanda is a safe country to deport people to? I don't believe that people from Congo would not be sent to Rwanda.

  2. I have an idea for a comedy sketch based on photoshopping. If anyone has seen the scene in 'Marathon Man' where Laurence Olivier is drilling into Dustin Hoffman's teeth without anaesthetic while constantly asking him 'Is it safe', just substitute a refugee for Lawrence Olivier and a Home Office Minister (or maybe Rishi Sunak) for Dustin Hoffman.
