This attitude is why we get useless people voted in as representatives. It's his job to be accountable and handle questions without flipping out about it. If he can't handle that, maybe he's in the wrong job or has something to hide. I'm sure people who voted Boris in thought he was 'a good laugh' but when chaotic government is the result it has serious consequences for real people.

@TraderBrando I think her questions were aimed at finding out if he was doing what he was supposed to do. The fact that he reacted in a hostile manner to being accountable for what he does, suggests he's not a good representative. He should be able to accept and answer questions as being a normal part of his job, otherwise it might also suggest he's not doing his job and has something to hide.

Well my reaction is that as a public representative taking taxpayer's money, he's meant to be accountable and able to answer questions and regard questions as normal. If he can't cope with that maybe he's in the wrong job or has something to hide. How would you react if a colleague at work swore about you and suggested there was 'something wrong with you' when you were just doing your job.

It's not just about the mistake. It's about the attitude he revealed towards his own colleague in front of everyone. Hard to go back from that.

@Liam Fullarton-Ward I don't complain about people being like a bot when they are doing their jobs, if their job isn't to entertain me. I once had someone haranguing me on the phone for half an hour and I didn't lose my cool or swear at them or about them, but I did mention to colleagues that I'd had someone trying to browbeat me on the phone. When another guy got angry on the phone at me about something I had no control over, I just let him vent his anger and explained things. At the end he apologised to me. I used to swear at football matches but football songs are full of swearing and everyone swears there. I probably have sworn at people in my life but I can't recall particular incidents. It would have been likely that I wanted them to go away and leave me alone. I'm sure I've told someone to f**k off but I can't think when and I've sworn when I've injured myself or made a stupid mistake.

@Liam Fullarton-Ward Nope. I'm just professional as you'd expect someone to be and would be moaning if they were not, when interacting with you, I'm sure.

@Liam Fullarton-Ward Good for you then. Great tolerance of poor behaviour from public officials. I hope that works out well for you.

Why does anyone vote in Neil Hamilton? He's practically a Nazi in his beliefs.

It's not just about the swearing. They are both in the same party - both meant to be on the same side, and he revealed to all the opposition parties how little he values his own colleague. How would you get on working with someone, who'd just done that to you?

@MaelstromTranquil As a democratic representative he should accept answering questions as a normal part of being accountable, and if he can't cope with that without a hostile reaction, it suggests he's not a good representative or he's got something to hide. You shouldn't have people swearing at you on a daily basis, but thankfully they are not swearing at you as someone in an official position. If a doctor or a police officer started swearing about you just because you were asking some questions, and suggesting that something was 'wrong with you' for doing that, maybe you'd feel differently. Would you get away with swearing back at the customers?

Not a very nice one.

@celticcc3658 You've completely misinterpreted what I'm on about. It's not the swearing as such, though being so disrespectful to his colleague and suggesting there's something wrong with her for asking questions is not good. It's the fact that he doesn't seem to think it's right for him to be questioned in this way, but it's part of the job for him to be accountable as a public representative who is taking taxpayers money. People have a right to ask him questions and if he can't handle it he's either in the wrong job or got something to hide.
