  1. They are not bothering to claim VAT on imports at the moment and they are not reclaiming billions in fraudulent furlough claims paid out during Covid . They overpaid companies by billions during Covid because of lack of competitive tendering, and on equipment that was sometimes useless and not fit for purpose. They have also turned a blind eye to money laundering and allowed the creation of companies for offshore investments whose real owners are not disclosed. The most wasteful government ever.
