Can you believe a liar who says he's no liar? If he told the government he had enough PPE at the time when all the newspapers were reporting that care homes didn't have it, that's a lie, and if he told the government that all elderly patients would be tested for Covid before being discharged to care homes, that's not what the guidance on the government website said, so that's a lie. The guidance warned that patients discharged from hospital may have Covid but that care homes were equipped to deal with it (at a time when they were not) I also experienced it in my family. My brother in law had Covid and the hospital wanted to discharge him even though he'd not been tested to check he was clear. They told my sister 'the government has told us to free up beds'. That ties in with what Cummings said hospitals were told.
