  3. I think we have more cases than 1600. The UK is only testing and diagnosing those who end up in hospital now. Anyone with symptoms who is told to stay at home, is not tested. The government estimates that in reality there are between 5,000 - 10,000 cases in the UK now. Germany also probably has more ventilators and intensive care beds. We have 4,000 intensive care beds and many of them are in use for people after serious operations.

  5. I'm just slightly younger than you but I have asthma and diabetes so I probably would not survive it.

  6. There have been lots of cases in Thailand. I think they have it under control now but you might not be able to get flights and even if you do the flight might be the biggest risk factor for catching the virus. If you need to return to the UK during the outbreak, you might not be able to either.
