I like the way Sheinbaum looks so unfazed by Trump's antics.

The technique of these liars is to motormouth anyone who might call them out on their lies.

As a Shakespeare character said. 'Patriotism (or the claim to it) is the last refuge of the scoundrel'.
38
Yes, the record is broken.
30
@MikeAinsworth But he's not currently attempting to be President. Trump is.
24
Coincidentally, I've just eaten two eggs, but I don't live in the USA.
21
@petervanzyl518 No, doesn't.
16
@mayshack Oops. It was Samuel Johnson who said it.
13
The host seems to be panicking. Pathetic.
13
I sometimes wonder if Putin's attitude is an agreed act with Trump so it doesn't seem too obvious that they are in each others pockets.
13
@MarkBryan-tw5fq Trump will prove it by himself
12
He also whines a lot. It's toddler behaviour.
10
But somehow it will all be blamed on Biden, or some other scapegoat.
9
Because Trump approves of his activity.
8
Who is going to engineer that? His party dominates Congress and the Senate.
8
How do people like this get to be lawyers? I suppose only someone who was ignorant of the law is likely to represent Trump now.
7
Couldn't care less. If you could care less you must care some, to leave room to care less.
7
I don't understand why people in the USA have to register for a particular party. That's not a requirement in the UK for instance. You can join a political party there but it's entirely voluntary and you can vote as you wish. Can someone please explain this US difference to me? Who benefits by having a party registration system?

@mayshack Good thing too. I approve.
4
@tedwarden1608 I misremembered but I did say afterwards that it was Dr Johnson if you followed the comments. It seems a very apt comment for some politicians these days.
4
I don't know if Trump ever panics. He whines but he mainly uses his third rule, 'never admit defeat, always claim victory'. His other 2 rules are 'attack attack attack', and 'deny deny deny' (see the film 'The Apprentice').
4
He's only been thought of as wealthy because he exaggerated. He is asset rich though and could sell some of those.
4
Egocentric
4
It's a balance to the vacuous upbeat tone of Trump.
3
Trump's rule 3. 'Never admit defeat. Always claim victory'. (Rule 1 is attack and rule 2 is deny).
3
Trump really knows how gullible his supporters are and is prepared to exploit them to the max.
2
Maybe Biden was aware of the potential threat and ahead of the game here. 'As of Aug. 8, the first day of the U.S. Senate’s August break, Biden has successfully appointed 75 judges to the three main tiers of the federal judicial system: the district courts, appeals courts and U.S. Supreme Court. That’s far more than the number appointed by Donald Trump (51) and Barack Obama (42) at the same stage in their presidencies, and slightly more than the number appointed by several other recent presidents – including George W. Bush (72), Bill Clinton (74) and Ronald Reagan (72) – by this point in their tenures. Among all presidents going back to Dwight D. Eisenhower, only Kennedy had appointed more federal judges than Biden at the same stage of his tenure. Kennedy had appointed 102 judges by then, far outpacing the total of every other modern president in the same amount of time.'
2
Trump's been mental for years but it doesn't seem to matter to his supporters. They don't discuss issues any more because Trumpism is just a personality cult.
2
Who gets advance warning of the date of their arrest? Is he being allowed to flee the country?
2
The golden goat reminds me of the golden calf in the bible. The worship of false gods (Trump in this case). O dear, remember how that ended. They were struck with a plague.
2
But I thought Trump supported McCarthy. He told his followers to vote for him didn't he? It's difficult to follow the twists and turns of this.
2
America helped to create the hell in Gaza by supplying Israel with the weapons to do it.
2
He doesn't care anymore? He never did care.
2
Was she drunk? The way she's walking might suggest so.
2
@ldurk5740 Thanks for explaining. I can't see the point of having a registration process.
2
@KatBrat808 I didn't realise the parties had separate polling stations. Having fewer less accessible ones for certain parties does sound like gerrymandering. Is there no system for checking someone didn't vote twice?
2
@ldurk5740 So why do some states require registration?
2
When the Nazis came to power in Germany, I realised all that mattered to them in terms of followers was belief, zealousness, and obedience. Brains didn't matter so a lot of stupid gullible and nasty people got into positions of power with them, and that was one reason they were very appealing to gullible, stupid and nasty people and the same happens with any fascist force anywhere it arises, and they seek to smash people with awareness, brains, intelligence and compassion who stand in their way
1
MAGA voters liked Trump because he was as nasty minded as them. They just didn't like it when he became nasty to them.
1
Who was the person standing next to Trump, chuckling at 6:36? Was that Vance?
1
Will those countries that don't sell aluminum, but instead sell aluminium be unaffected by the tariffs?
1
Trump says companies will pay the tariffs. Lol it's the customers that will pay.
1
I just enjoyed two eggs, mmm, and it didn't break the bank because I don't live in the USA.
1
How's his proposed takeover of Canada going to go down with King Charles III next time he want to visit the UK?
1
He was too much of a Tucker for them. His name turned out to be rhyming slang.
1
Trump and Putin accuse other people of their own sins. Who is still being fooled?
1
How stupid are Trump voters?
1
I hate to say it but maybe American Maga supporters need to learn the truth about Trump by having him in power.
1
He doesn't need his brain because he doesn't use it. He 'rules' by firing off orders and thinking what's in his own interests.
1
Not only is Trump not interested in governing but he wouldn't know how to govern if he was. He can't do politics, only 'business' deals and issuing orders that are often illegal.
