Were Trump voters not listening to what the MAGA team said before the election or did they think 'it doesn't mean me' or did they not understand the impact of such intentions? I think they voted to be better off financially, so they thought, and didn't mind who else would be hurt.

@JackDutch-b2n The difference is the scale of lies told to get elected. Democrats hope more to get elected via truthful promises but it's easier (as Trump has proved) to get elected with lies by saying what voters want to hear, even if it's contradictory, and even if when you tell the awful truth you are not believed.
