I think Starmer was clever in bringing a personal invitation to the UK for Trump from King Charles. Trump could hardly disrespect Starmer with that incentive dangling in front of him. Trump generally does not have respect for anyone that does not agree with him. He does not have respect for Zelensky. This was a disgraceful press meeting. Zelensky was used by Trump to try and make Trump look tough. Zelensky is Trump's scapegoat.
