  1. Because the HMRC cleared her and so did the police. Frankly even if she was guilty the issue is out of date for HMRC action since they don't pursue any case more than 7 years old, which the Tories well knew, but they wanted to throw some dirt for headline and smearing purposes in advance of the election. They are also all terrible snobs and frightened of a working class woman with any real power. The police also say there's no action for them. In any case they don't deal with tax issues. That's a matter for HMRC.

  3. The thumbnail title creator can't spell 'hordes'. The Tories have no control over immigration now because they don't want to spend on effective public services like border controls. Labour will at least exert some controls. If migrants always go to cities they are hardly likely to want to 'flood every corner of the country' where jobs don't exist.
