@Io-Io-Io Only very close friends can talk to each other like that and get away with it - English humour among close friends. The others didn't react with horror.

@Io-Io-Io I watched it again and observed Palin. He laughed when Cleese called Jones a 'doddery old idiot'. When Cleese questioned Jones's reference to 'other people' Palin just looked confused as if he was trying to think what Terry Jones meant. I watched through and didn't see any disapproving expression on Palin's face. Generally women are more observant than men. Ask and scientist who has researched this.

@Io-Io-Io So now you seem to agree about women generally being more observant (contrary to your previous comment) but only to state something else against women. You like sweeping misogynist generalisations it seems. Good luck in life with that attitude.

@steffanhoffmann8937 Based on scientific research I'm afraid. It doesn't mean every woman is more observant than every man. It's a generalisation. It may not be their sex per se which has made women more observant, but rather their historic position in societies which means they have been allowed to speak less so observe more. Or it may be that historically they have been more responsible for the care and safety of children, and are therefore more alert to non verbal signals, and what they might mean, as they are on the lookout for danger. Perhaps more equality will mean they become less observant, who knows.
