Can't believe you're not impressed by it. I have only passed it a few times but it's exciting and magnificent every time catching that first glimpse of it, and it's great that it's for the North. There's nothing to match it elsewhere in the UK - nothing quite like it. It's also appropriate as it has a kind of industrial look but one that's rusting. It should be a matter of pride. Florence has its David, Paris has its Mona Lisa and The North of England has its Angel. Cool! The other thing is that you're on a featureless boring piece of motorway then suddenly there's this amazing welcoming and protective feature that lets you know you've arrived in the North and there's something benign guarding it. If people there don't value it, give it to the South and we'll rename it Angel of the South :-)
