  3. Aren't the new variants (so far) generally less dangerous than the old variants? The first variants were much more deadly, so vaccines were important then, weren't they?

  4.  @RealMikeLitoris  John followed the available evidence. Anyway the early variants were much more deadly than the later ones so it was important to have vaccines then.
