Save her from Boris.

Not right through... sometimes he just looked appalled.

The point is to keep rogues and megalomaniacs like Trump or Boris out of the top spot.

He retired.

@carlarthur4442 Corbyn didn't say that, because it wasn't true. The Tory tabloids made that up to discourage people from voting for him and get them voting for Boris and they succeeded.

@MrArthurGiles We'll see shall we?
1
Lol. It took me a while to realise you were referring to Prince Charles.

She's just thinking 'This rat lied to me and now I'm forced to read his speech'. She's a bit broken up about it.

It was Corbyn who promised free TV licences for over 75s, not Boris.
1
@jpw6893 The BBC were given the responsibility of deciding about the free TV licences by the government but given no money for it, so they would have had to cut programmes to do it, and they are already showing too many repeats because of reduced funding.

Charles sometimes looks appalled, and sometimes as though he's nodding off.
1
I hope you didn't vote for it then.

I like choccies too.

@clitflicker9769 But she never will as the aim of the monarchy is to stay away from politics and political controversy.
1
The voters should care. This is when they find out if they are getting what they think they voted for.
1
@3D_Printing Prince Philip isn't there. He's retired.
1
@3D_Printing He's in his nineties. What do you expect? He's ill in hospital now.
1
It's not unnecessary. This is when voters find out whether they are going to get what they think they voted for.
1
@leatherneck7857 The process is necessary because it announces and confirms what the government is going to do, which may or may not be what people voted for. This is when they find out whether the government intends to honour their election pledges. It doesn't have to be so ceremonial but that does help to impress on the government that they will be held to account on all this.
1
@leatherneck7857 It can't happen without this. How dim are Brexiters?
