  6.  HMQ  Who is 'they' and 'we'? The NHS uses the word 'specialty' or at least it used to. Things become more Americanised over time, so that might have changed. A speciality is like something that you do really well like a Chef with a particular recipe. A specialty, in a medical context, is an area of expertise that you specialise in i.e. that's your main area of training knowledge and skill. The difference is subtle enough for the two to be confused or used interchangeably.

  7.  @MilesBellas  I addressed the topic previously. I was just alerted to the latest comment and didn't look beyond it. I agree with you there's a lot of resistance to bad news and warnings. I used to know someone called Bellas but their first name was Mike. Unusual name.

  9. Natural selection will weed out idiots who don't listen to advice and don't protect themselves and others. If it's a hoax, it's the most expensive hoax in the world ever. There are easier and cheaper ways to control us with new technology if that was the aim. It's not a hoax.
