But I guess women will only be able to study religion.

I'm sure the Nazis thought the same.

Mark Devlin I think it's mostly desired to avoid any hassle in travel arrangements after Brexit e.g. so they won't have to apply for a visa to visit Europe, but why refer to them as British? According to Irish citizenship law, anyone with an Irish parent or grandparent is considered to be an Irish citizen. I'm sure there are many more "Irish citizens" outside of Ireland than within it.

@siddhartha4953 How many of the civilians were killed by the US and how many by the Taliban. Do those statistics exist?
4
It's probably a partial truth. Women will probably be allowed to study but only study religion.

@noob1128 Maybe they'd have more children if men helped out more with childcare. You can't blame women for having careers. If they rely solely on men for a family income, and those men run out, the women may be left destitute with children. Also if men don't help with housework, for a woman that's like having an extra child to clear up after.

Well, according to Irish laws Ireland considers them to be Irish citizens. Just imagine what the Irish population could be if all its citizens returned. Don't have nightmares now.

@mrtee3477 Needs trees.

@Aksel Harmaajärvi Wrong.

Some years ago women were said to be conservative voters. I guess they got disillusioned. Doesn't look like you believe in democracy if it doesn't give you the result you want.

Lavrov means if Russia doesn't win, it will nuke someone.

@klownking4835 You talk as if women are possessions. If you are talking about equals then the men's views are not the only ones to take into account,
1
@AppleGoodman LGTV? Which TV station is that?
1
@klownking4835 I'm not telling them how to live. I'm just expressing an opinion. They are telling their women how to live though aren't they?. It's the women's country as much as the men's.

@SilvinaLisboa You could google that and it would tell you that 'Before the arrival of Islam in the 7th century, there were a number of religions practiced in ancient Afghanistan, including Zoroastrianism, Surya worship, Paganism, Hinduism and Buddhism.'

@Blair Morpeth You can vote in democracy and if enough of your fellow voters agree with you, you can change the government, change the philosophy, change the laws and the policies. Also you are not governed according to strict religious codes because there is a separation of church and state. That's the difference. However there is quite a lot of money invested in undermining democracy in favour of the views of the wealthy elite.

@mustafajalal1941 Yes, everyone should learn to progress beyond bloody histories and bloody rule.
1
@mustafajalal1941 I agree, but that's capitalism USA style. Democracy in itself is not bad. I mean the USA is pulling out of Afghanistan because Biden won't get elected again if he's pursuing that war. The voting public don't support it.
1
@mustafajalal1941 P.S. If you remember though, the USA went into Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks on the USA. They seemed to think that Afghanistan was a source of terrorism or was harbouring terrorists.
1
@Blair Morpeth No I think laundering was a part of it.
1
@Blair Morpeth Only because people vote for those. They don't have to. Democracy is not perfect but it's better than the alternatives.
