The woman called Gia looks like Angelina Jolie. What a waste! What a waste of all of them really.

Not very interesting. What about Stephen Hawking, Muhammed Ali, and Bob Dylan?
17
I was just thinking Thomas Sankara should at least get an honourable mention.
15
I think the Kinks need an honourable mention.
7
I've seen Kagemusha, Ran, Throne of Blood and The Seven Samurai. Great films all. I think Ran and Kagemusha were the most visually beautiful. Kurosawa does battle scenes of rival armies in beautiful colors sweeping down on each other. Quite stunning.
6
These are the Top 10 American female comedians. No other nationality is in the video.
4
Christian Doll You stay in the U.S and don't live in Europe then. That's a win win for you and Europe.
4
The narrator means an alternative scenario where the victor is Richard III (instead of Henry VII), but instead she refers to the alternative victor as Henry III, (managing to mix up Richard III with Henry VII).
3
It's said sometimes on British sitcoms where they have to be careful with language before the watershed.
3
I think this series is brilliant but I have found there are some things that aren't true to real events. People wouldn't be threatened with being shot in this period. People who are suffering from radiation sickness are not a great risk to others, once their irradiated clothes are removed. The helicopter did crash but not trying to put out the fire. It crashed later. The 'revelation' was not made during the trial of the 3 managers. That was done that way for dramatic effect.

If they show a director I imagine they pick the best example of his films and here they picked "Rear Window" and Psycho".
2
You could say he was the leading thinker and writer that influenced the leaders that followed. Without him there would have been no Russian revolution, no Trotsky or Lenin.
2
Another word for extremely pissed is "paralytic" or "palatic" as they say in Liverpool.

Versailles and Poldark

Where are the top 10 underrated actresses?
1
Cat Stevens was a pop singer really. His first hits charted in the pop charts.
1
Brendan Gleeson?
1
I misread this as the top 10 sexist music videos - but perhaps it's the same thing in this case. Can't really beat 'Je t'aime moi non plus for a sexy song.
1
No mention of Suzie Quatro?
1
Merlin's aimed at younger viewers I think.
1
What have people passed - their exams?
1
Simon and Garfunkel took Scarborough Fair from English folksinger Martin Carthy but they never gave him any credit for a long time. Martin Carthy did not write it. It's a traditional song (anon) but Martin Carthy put the tune to the song. S&G made it up with Martin Carthy later on.
1
The end of 'Ghost Writer' was surprising.
1
It's pronouced paj ant (with a short a in both syllables).
1
The Exorcist, Psycho, Frenzy, The Silence of the Lambs.
1
You've maybe not experienced some of the songs inflicted on the U.K such as 'The Birdy song' or 'Floral Dance' by Terry Wogan. He can't even sing so he speaks it. Then there was 'Ernie' The fastest milkman in the west.
1
Also Hitler, Stalin, the leader of ISIS, the leader of Boko Haram. What about the 10 best humans of all time?
1
In no particular order I would include 1984, Catch 22, One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch, Oliver Twist, The Jungle, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Lord of the Rings, Far From the Madding Crowd. It's hard to judge what are the greatest novels but those are some of my favourites. I see people have made comments about Shakespeare but this video is about novels. Shakespeare didn't write novels. Novels weren't invented then. He wrote plays.

+cameron denchfield Really? I always thought itwas about brotherly love.

Some of the most memorable scenes are: The Spanish Inquisition scene, the dead parrot sketch, the charity collector and the merchant banker, the upper class twit race, the funniest joke of all time sketch, the argument sketch and the communist quiz sketch - also Michael Palin playing a very oily TV front man. They were all in the TV series - if they are in a film it would be 'And now for something completely different' I guess.
1
Mans Zelmerlow's "Heroes" not even mentioned!!!!
1
Also, anything by Chas & Dave
1
There are no old or foreign films included. The ending of the British film "The Third Man" is good and the ending of the 1969 French film "Z".
1
monokhem It requires tremendous co-ordination and skill to play soccer (football) to world class standard - that's why all good footballing countries start training children at a very young age but you also have to have passion for the sport to do it well.
1
monokhem You did not really get my point or take in what I was saying. It's easy to play but hard to be good at it unless you develop the skills and co-ordination. The U.S is not so good at it. It does not win any international trophies in football (or soccer as you call it). Maybe that's because they assume it's easy and give up on it too early.
1
The s in Cleese is pronounced as the s in Cheese. The narrator keeps mispronouncing is as a soft s.
1
Leonado Da Vinci's spiked up modern hairstyle. Lol
1
Re Blackadder. You mean an alternative history where Richard III won the battle of Bosworth - not Henry III.
1
I've seen all of these except Raging Bull, Bicycle Thieves and Breathless (A Bout De Souffle), but I'm not at film school. I just like good films.
1
Whole Lotta Love was the first song of Led Zeppelin that I heard on the first Led Zep album that I bought. Pleased to see it up there. I thought for a while the list was going to ignore all their sexy bluesy songs. It's really hard to rank their songs though and I guess no 2 people would come up with the same list.

No. H may have scripted questions and guests may have prepared some stories but Graham knows when to keep quiet. He reacts spontaneously (e.g to a drunk Mark Wahlberg) allows for spontaneous conversations among guests. Plus the guests laughing at each other seems genuine most of the time. Here's a good example of Graham allowing for spontaneous guest interaction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPuqNBeL7_0

Lancashire is pronounced Lancasheer like all the other shire counties in England.
1
Trump also gave fake cufflinks to Charlie Sheen as a 'wedding present'.
1
Cretins (Cretins (like jet ins). Not Cretins like Creet'ns. Cretans (Creet'ns) are people who live on the island of Crete
1
A better title would be top 10 songs that gained popularity through their use in AMERICAN movies. Clearly the rest of the world doesn't exist.
1
Lord Rochester in The Libertine was missed
1
The theme at the end of 'Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence' which is written by Ryuichi Sakamoto who also played a lead role in the film. Starts softly at about 0:22 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVxuv9ne32U&t=12s

'Couldn't care less means you don't care'. 'Could care less' means you care more than you could.
1
Unless I blinked and missed it, this the history in this video skipped right over any mention of Led Zeppelin I and Led Zeppelin III. Correction to your 'correction', Bonham's ashes were 'interred' not 'interned'. Internment is for potential terrorists. Re 'Over The Hills and Far Away'. Led Zeppelin were really only interested in producing albums, not singles for the singles charts, which would have restricted their range. Some tracks were issued as singles later under pressure to release some. 'Whole Lotta Love' is my favourite track though, and the first Zeppelin song I heard on the first Zeppelin album I bought and heard. There's some great music on 'The Lemon Song'. I wonder why it gets left off lists? This list seems more weighted towards the blues/rock end of their music. Some of the quieter slower ones are also excellent - but that's o.k. It's hard to choose only 10 in any case.
1
The gruesomeness of deaths in films is why I never watch films like these - even had to skip through this video when it started getting too gruesome. Also Sean Bean's first death looked ridiculous. He falls out of a helicopter onto concrete and survives so that he can die when the burning helicopter falls on him.
