  1. I hope the National Audit Office looks into this and brings in the police if there's no valid reason for writing off such a huge amount.

  2. Auditors can always challenge the accounts and writings off and refuse to sign off the accounts if they are not satisfied - even bring in the police maybe. The NAO (National Audit Office) should be looking into this.
