According to Private Eye magazine, it's not true that Andrew wanted to wear an Admiral's suit, and it's not true that uniforms were banned by the Queen because otherwise Harry would be the only one not wearing one and because of Andrew's demand. Harry's cousin Peter Phillips and some other attendees would not have been wearing one and in any case Harry was entitled to wear the uniform of the Blues and Royals whom he served with, if he wished. It's a story made up by the newspapers.
