  1. The French actually offered to put more people on the border quite some time ago if the British erected more border posts and the British refused. Were many of these Ministers just following or accepting Boris's lies about border checks without checking? I can't believe their civil servants weren't telling them those statements were wrong. Remember when the public was told that 'we've had enough of experts' when those experts tried to explain the true position.
