The issue is Boris's constant lying which the voters are sick of and would cause a lot of Conservatives to lose their seats if they carry on supporting him. How can they still claim to be the party of law and order to voters?

@jamesdaltrey2878 It's the Tories that are selling off the country. Check who owns the former public sector companies they privatised, Railways, Water, Mail, Steel, Energy and services they outsourced in health. They were also pretty cool with British companies such as Cadbury's, and Fry's being sold off to foreign corporations. They were fine with foreign ill-gotten gains being laundered through fraudsters buying property in England, even if it wasn't to be occupied. Many British farms are now owned by foreign companies. They are even trying to remove workers rights so it's easier for these companies to exploit them and increase profits from them.

@susancurtis1651 That's not so if you consider the cost of not being 'in' or the benefits of being 'in'. The shrinkage of the economy of a Britain outside of the EU has a big cost for us.

Chris Bryant has said he would take no part in the process. Did you not know that or are you just conveniently ignoring it? The majority on the committee are Tories, so if you think it's biased you must think the Tories are biased against one of their own.
