  4. He wasn't defending Hamas. He condemned the attack on Israel, but he was talking about the context for this long term conflict and the equivalence of the lives of Palestinian and Israeli children. The Palestinians are not interested in Islamic fundamentalism but in having some freedom.

  5. This is a biased report. Owen Jones didn't make it black and white. He condemned the attack on Israel. That was the first thing he did and he listened while Margaret Hodges spoke whereas she accused him of saying nothing about the attack on Israel and kept interrupting him to stop him saying anything about the long term context for this conflict.

  6. He's not defending the actions of HAMAS. He condemned the attack on Israel but he's talking about the historical context. The Palestinians would like some rights, same as any Western population would.

  7.  @allanarnold3619  It's already allowed on a voluntary basis where it does not conflict with English law but I doubt that those escaping from tyrannical countries and experiencing democracy will want to go back to hand chopping etc. A few might but they will never make a majority.
