@iguiste23 Trump was also an admirer of Putin and even now won't condemn him. If Trump shuts down gas to Germany or Europe, where is he going to get the money to fund his war?

@WildPhotoShooter What did Trump ever do or say that suggested Putin was an enemy? Haven't you noticed that Trump admires all the worst dictators of the world? He would love to have had that much control. He would have loved to shut down his opponents voices. He never admired any democratic leaders. He criticised them for being 'weak'. He refused to shake the hand of Angel Merkel. That's not 'keeping friends close'.

@WildPhotoShooter You can't judge Trump's attitude just on one statement to Germany. Putin's agents actively worked to get Trump elected by spreading fake news, and during the election campaign Trump openly, publicly, asked Russia to hack Hillary Clinton's emails.

@WildPhotoShooter I think Trump and Putin try to use each other, perhaps seeing some mutual advantage in that, but some people thought Putin had some hold over Trump, some blackmail material. Whether he does or not, Trump's attitude towards Putin was unusual for an American President.

@jugbywellington1134 I couldn't trust a word that comes out of that man's mouth since he even lies about what he himself has said previously. Also I'm very glad to no longer have him in the news on a daily basis since having his tweets always to read was a constant torture. It's a more peaceful life when he's out of the news.

@jugbywellington1134 No one's worse than Trump. He's not really a believer in democracy and would do all he can in office to undermine it. He's already demonstrated that with his attitude the the election result and his encouragement of the storming of the capitol. He's a populist who can persuade people that he's on their side but his only real interest is in gaining and keeping power and whatever is to his own advantage. He's also very corrupt. I didn't vote for anyone as I'm not American and therefore not eligible to vote in US elections.

@Chiefmismaker Putin has got some hold over Donald. Putin would know he could do what he wants with Donald in charge in the USA, and Donald would not have agreed sanctions. He can't even bring himself to criticise Putin or condemn him for goodness sake - never mind agree sanctions. Why do people think the sun shines out of Donald's ass. That's just his own assessment of himself and his followers seem to swallow it. The only talent Donald has is for entertainment and showmanship.
