  2. No. Right wingers get excited at every little rise in the value of the £1 but it hasn't gone back to where it was before they bombed it with their mini budget. That well known radical left wing communist paper the Financial Times is alarmed also. Every time it rises a little the government seems to bomb it again. Anyway, the only reason it's risen a bit is because the Bank of England bailed out the government and saved the pension funds and the government has since promised an OBR assessment. Nevertheless, bye bye to the Tories at the next GE. .
