There's a misunderstanding by the presenters of this video that it's just income tax that pays for the NHS. The NHS funded from general taxation, that means a share of all forms of tax in the general tax pot which includes income tax, national insurance tax, VAT (a sales tax) corporation tax, capital gains tax and other taxes. You do get free emergency healthcare in the NHS if you are not a citizen, but if it's not emergency care and you are not covered by reciprocal arrangements, you would have to pay, but it would not cost as much as having to pay in the USA.
