6:04 It is ALSO about political and economic management, because you can do most for the most if you manage the economy and the finances in such a way as to be able to maximise what you can spend on your programmes. In other words economic or financial mismanagement does not help the cause of socialism. It can set it back. Manage it well for the benefit of all, not for the benefit of the few. I understand that financial management is not the main thing to engage or excite people but it must be there in the background. In what you do you and the way you carry things out you shouldn't neglect it. Mismanagement is the one thing that will get you voted out of office quickly unless you can lie about it and hide it as well as the Tories do, but since Labour is always accused of mismanagement, its enemies will be on the look out for it.

These two are an interesting mix. Varoufakis is very theoretically focussed in terms of economics and political high level strategy focussed. Jeremy Corbyn always concerned about and links his politics to the effects on people's lives in the UK. Varoufakis dreams of world movements. Corbyn refers to the connections of politicians in different countries who think alike, but I don't see that he has the ambition for taking a lead in an international movement. His focus is mainly on the UK. The Tories claim to be the most patriotic party but actually they don't invest in or promote or particularly value a British economy. They have outsourced so much of the British economy to foreign multinational companies and the social and economic model they seem to want to us emulate is that of the USA, where there are huge social divides, and huge dissatisfaction with the political elites, because of how that model is not working for the majority now.
