  11.  @lewis123417  The Uk legislators decided that hate speech that encourages or stirs up violence against its citizens is not something it wants to tolerate. It's against its core values. Slander and libel are also free speech but you can be sued for using those 'freedoms' too.

  12.  @lewis123417  Where speech is blocked though not 'illegal' it's often down to the actions of corporations who don't want to lose customers by being associated with unpopular views. It's down to 'the market'. They are undoubtedly being over-sensitive but they won't take risks.

  17.  @lewis123417  I thought that encouraging violence against people or inciting killing of certain groups of people was punishable. I remember Anjem Choudhary being sent to prison for over 5 years for urging support for ISIS.
