As a remoaner I am pleased, as I was expecting a complete bollox next year and it's a relief that perhaps it won't be quite as complete as I was expecting.

@charlietm4350 You don't seem to know what's happening. The UK has said it's legislating to illegally break the Brexit withdrawal agreement they signed with the EU last year - the one that protects the Good Friday Agreement in Northern Ireland. The US has said there will be no trade deal between the US and the UK if the UK goes ahead and breaks the Good Friday Agreement aspects of the Withdrawal Agreement.

It's probably going to be much the same, in which case it's a loss saved rather than any gain.

Ruth Collins It's hardly more democratic when Boris is planning to break the law, make changes to the constitution to remove opposition to what he does, regularly lies to the electorate, and attempts to censor and damage media outlets that don't kiss his arse. When we were in the EU we were one of the most influential members and 99% of EU legislation was initiated or voted for by the UK.
