There have been previous bulletins about his treatment. He was given oxygen but luckily he didn't have to go on a ventilator. It could have gone that way, but thankfully it didn't in his case.

@buzz3866 How would I know? One of the nurse's parents talked about their daughter having her hands on various control buttons. The NHS will never reveal exact details of someone's treatment, and it doesn't seem that Boris wants to talk about his treatment in detail, and neither would I if I were him. It's a private matter. It seems though that he may have had some supporting interventions short of being on a ventilator. I mean you can be given intravenous drugs and fluids to maintain blood pressure, reduce fever, keep you hydrated and nourished and support organs. I'm only guessing, though.

@buzz3866 'anti-malarial zinc sulfate'? I thought that was fake news. Trump's little obsession. I'll look it up. It's true that only 50% seem to survive ventilators. Whether that's the ventilators or that they are too far gone by that stage I don't know. If you don't get enough oxygen your organs start to die anyway.

@buzz3866 Here's some evidence. It appears not to be effective/ untried in severe cases. Trump is doing more to depopulate America. He denied the problem and first then prematurely announced that it had been conquered before becoming more realistic.

He's not yet fit. He can speak though. The worst part of the illness is when you can't breathe. Once you are able to breathe again and are on the mend, it's just a question of getting over the tiredness.
