I think he just tripped over his words. There was an interviewer on UK radio who introduced the Health Secretary at the time, Jeremy Hunt, as Jeremy Cunt. It was accepted as a slip of the tongue. I once worked with a colleague whose name was Kuhnesberg which was pronounced partly like this guy's slip. I was referring to the guy in my conversation and I remember an African colleague asking me to spell was I just said.
