  2.  @pumpkinfield100  Because she could not live without him or did not want to live without him? Maybe she felt the dog would not cope. Maybe the dog was getting distressed. Maybe the death of the dog was an accident as she thought they'd be found sooner. Maybe she wasn't thinking straight.
