@tedbeach4766 The point is that he.wanted to go when his supporters were storming the Capitol after praising them and asking for metal detectors to be removed. He would have been seen by the mob and by anyone else who saw him, as encouraging or even leading the illegal activity that day. His security men were either viewing him as potentially in danger from the mob (unlikely) or not wanting to facilitate his being seen in association with the mob.

@brewed_for_success If he was leading a mob engaged in illegal activity, yes, that's a crime.

@potcrak1 If you are saying what I think you are saying, there's no point is saying one type of criminal activity is better or worse than another, if they are both criminal activity. The fact that it's criminal is the important thing and you wouldn't expect the country's leader to be indulging in it, since he is meant to stand for law and order, and the constitution, and be some kind of role model.

@potcrak1 I don't have a lot of opinions about ANTIFA but if their name is accurate being against fascism sounds like what they are about. Are you saying you feel the need to defend fascism from ANTIFA?
