  8. Reform UK have hardly any brain cells between them and would be worse even than the Tories. They rely on using popular prejudices to gather support but keep on voting for them as it helps Labour. There might have been a Winter of discontent under Labour but it was better than 14 years of austerity ending in a sclerotic economy.

  10. Well historically pay has been higher under Labour, the NHS waiting lists were at their lowest ever level, and child poverty was significantly reduced. Scotland and Wales got devolution. N Ireland got peace via The Good Friday Agreement and equality legislation legislated against discrimination. Those were worth having.

Apart from that being nigh on impossible (except maybe by the Reform Party), pay has always been higher under Labour and the last Labour government had the lowest ever NHS waiting lists, the highest ever patient satisfaction survey results, it reduced child poverty significantly and legislated against various discriminations. Wales and Scotland got devolution and N Ireland got peace via The Good Friday Agreement. All worth having.
