Not as bad as Johnson refusing to engage with Parliament but announcing new policies to the media with no chance for voters representatives to have their say as those new policies are being announced.

The current outcome, local cuts, is to do with the fact that the Conservative government has cut the central grant to local councils since 2010, and to Batley and Spen Council by 74%. The central grant was actually a levelling up measure as it took levels of deprivation into account in its calculations. So far from levelling up, as the Tories say they want to do, Tory policies are causing more inequality. The central grant cuts hit poorer areas harder resulting in more cuts. Every constituency that brings in a Labour MP is making one step more towards evicting this awful, corrupt, mendacious government.

@martinmckay1181 Stupid people or those with some kind of inferiority complex seem to make a big thing of calling other people stupid for no reason, because they have no other ideas to put forward. Your comments are just hot air.

That's the very reason the public should take an interest. Corruption relies on voter apathy and complacency, in order to continue on its merry way.
