Israel would not give up their nukes. They may not even have nuclear weapons, but instead are performing an elaborate bluff. Though, if they do (and they probably do) have nukes, they have no reason to give them up. Especially since their neighbors hate them.

@ceamhd Many countries of Eastern Europe wonder if Germany and France will help them in case of war from Russia. Point is there is wonder how many are willing to protect their fellow alliance members. With Russia re-strengthening and China encroaching into Europe economically and politically, the question is getting serious.

@Shawn Clark One, the nuclear bombs are useless without the plutonium cores (which are likely stored safely in America) and security codes. And two, the US would not hesitate to immediately get them back, peacefully or by force. And I'm sure Greece and Bulgaria would be very happy to assist the US in the effort.

Germany has gotten soft from relying on American protection. However, since they are in NATO, they are protected by US, British, and French nukes.

@ceamhd NATO is still important though. If it had been disbanded right after the Cold War, Eastern Europe would be under sway of Russia. Russia could find it much easier to justify an "intervention" to protect their "people" in the Baltic. Ukraine is now learning the price of neutrality.
