The problem with nuclear is that, due to public perception, the amount of regulations on nuclear power has made it extraordinarily expensive and time consuming to construct.

@موسى_7 Chernobyl was caused by Soviet stupidity and a very flawed design. Modern reactors, of course, are much better built and designed. They can also work at night, compared to solar power.

@Hababam64107 The problem is that they're buying energy from France (which is nuclear-generated) or from Poland (which is coal-fired). They just outsourced their problem.

Apparently that was caused because of flooding in their coal mines.

Renewables, while nice, don't have the efficiency to replace fossil-fuels. Only nuclear can really do that, but for some reason everyone is terrified of nuclear power. We've come a long way since Chernobyl.
