  5.  Hoàng Nguyên  The Chinese have the capacity to burn all of Vietnam to the ground, which I'm sure they'll do if they want. Look at Tibet. Tibet has fought China for just as long, yet they were conquered. Vietnam will need allies, or it will be strangled, and it will die alone, and abandoned. Vietnam's success in the last war with America came because it was amply supplied by the USSR and China. Without weapons, insurgencies die. The Three "Nos" will hinder Vietnam, especially as the Chinese strengthen.
