Add to this the immense hatred of the AZOV battalion against the Russian minority. The killings and continuous bombing of the Donbass. The agreement to remain neutral. So no NATO. Also, in the Donbass itself, autonomy would be given over the 3 Oblasts. This against the will of the AZOV. They continued their clean-up actions. This led to a referendum A referendum was also held in these 3 Oblasts. In 2014. Remain under attack in Ukraine as a minority. Or join Russia.
