Pregoishin, Ghirkin and the less important Romanov, ultra nationalists, are/were far more realistic and clear than the Russian governement, and probably right about the west prefering the long war of attrition, seen the simple facts and results we see today. If russia collaps to soon, another Putin will go on, or falling apart to smaller nuclear states. Besides China can always ,,need,, some Russian ground and materials, food and energy.
