  1. I was at a large event where there was a mass shooter panic (turns out it was a guy with a bb gun) but it was pretty terrifying to just see people running in your direction yelling "mass shooter."

  2. The sound can be similar, its a sharp snapping noise that echoes, I think its easy to confuse the two.
