  7.  @sola_a  The was WAS necessary, Japan falling would involve years more of mobilized forces and a risk of Russian land invasion. Its delusional to pretend Japan was harmless at that stage.

  9.  @Mario87456  The younger generation doesn't blindly worship Japan. The country has a lot of issues like hunting whales, throwing a hissy fit when other countries set up memorials to the chinese and korean "comfort women", not outlawing CP until they wanted to save face for the olympics, etc.
