  2. I think it kind of makes sense in a way (let me put on my Arkham armchair therapist hat). Bruce has always dated younger women, possibly as a way to make up for his lost youth. Barbara grew up with a dad who was gone working a lot of the time (not calling Gordon a bad father by any means, but you know a job like that is bound to keep him away from home a lot of the time), so its not unheard of to crush on older men in that kind of dynamic. I just see it as something that could happen pretty easily.
