Except that the Republican and Democrat parties swapped politics and voters in the Southern Strategy. The Republicans became the conservative party and the Democrats became the liberal one.

The old pro slavery conservative southern democrats switched to the Republican party, the liberal Republicans who fought for the end of slavery became Democrats. Ever notice who wants the statues honoring slave owners to come down, and who sobs about "muh heritage"?

Democrats are also the ones trying to teach the history of racism in this country, which also makes republicans tantrum LOL @ republicans

@bunkerdome3562 LOL "homes invaded." Shouldn't have started a war to keep slaves then. Yeah and those statues just happened to be put up in the civil rights era...I guess they just procrastinated on that?
