  5. nyope, u clearly missed his thesis: he did not say even the equivalent of needing to be 'free of one's own biology in order to have free will'. He essentialy said that the way we think of free will is not compatible with our body biology works every single time it works. He seems to be trying to show us that if we think of free will as philosophical then we're not talking biological and he's right in that sense. He also strongly points out that we can modify our behavior through motivation, so in that sense most ppl think of that as having some free will.  @marvinedwards737
