@Ben Hurn yeah that's NOT what the OP was referring to re toxic ppl, who are those with negative and negating personalities. These tend to be manipulative and some have actual personality disorders.

@happyday868 no, toxic ppl have negative dispositions and often have profound insecurities that develop into personalities that are overly negative and maladapative. Some of these are also manipulative as they age. And i saw this get dramatically worse in the few yrs preceeding trumpism and then really going bigtime during trumpism. Horrible timing. I had to cut that person off, sadly.
